Brett Sweeney has called Milwaukee “home” for almost a decade. He received his BFA in Vocal Performance from the UW-Milwaukee and has been a part of various productions, with professional credits in both opera and musical theatre. In addition, Brett is a current member of the early music ensemble, Aperi Animam, which focuses on performing sacred and secular works ranging from the first notated music to the early Baroque era. He is currently offering voice lessons in the Milwaukee area.
Brett is a recent AmSAT certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, which supports his philosophies as a teacher of singing. Regardless of the student’s age or ability, Brett believes in a holistic approach to cultivate a sense of freedom and control in singing and performance.
