Cellist Ian Wasserman received his Bachelors in Fine Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2021 and his Masters of Music Degree from the University of Kentucky in 2024. While in Kentucky, Wasserman served as the Teaching Assistant to Benjamin Karp, and this fall will serve as the Teaching Assistant to Stefan Kartman at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in a post Master’s Certificate in Orchestral Studies.
Ian has performed as a substitute cellist with the Charlotte Symphony, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, West Virginia Symphony, South Bend Symphony Orchestra, Evansville Philharmonic, the Lexington Philharmonic, and more. Wasserman has experience teaching at the University of Kentucky where he taught undergraduate cellists the group technique class. Additionally, he has been a faculty member at Camp Encore Coda, and the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestra. His students have been accepted into University Programs, and awarded scholarships.
Ian is currently accepting new students from beginner to advanced.
