Madison Voice Instructor
A Wisconsin native, soprano Katie Anderson is a professional singer and active voice instructor in the Madison area. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the UW-Stevens Point, studying under Weston Hurt and Dr. Matthew Markham. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at UW-Madison and is studying under the direction of Mimmi Fulmer.
Katie is a performer of opera, musical theatre, recital and choral music. She was most recently seen in UW Opera’s production of La bohème (Musetta). Recent performance highlights include operas, The Turn of the Screw (Governess), Die Zauberflöte (The Queen of the Night), and L’enfant et les sortilèges (Le feu).
Katie has performed in choral competitions in New York, as well as toured with the UWSP Concert Choir, participating in the Festival of Peace & Brotherhood in Rome, Italy. She also has experience as a section leader for the Church of Intercession in Stevens Point, and she is currently the Soprano staff singer for Grace Episcopal Church in Madison.
Katie is currently offering voice lessons in Madison and is accepting new students.
