Madison Piano and Voice Instructor
Mezzo Soprano Kirstin Roble recently completed her Master of Music studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College. Hailed as a “mellifluous mezzo,” (Mike Fisher, Journal Sentinel,) she is an accomplished performer in opera, musical theatre, and recital and has sung with several Madison and regional companies, including Madison Opera and Fresco Opera Theatre. Kirstin made her international performing debut in 2011 in Salzburg, Austria, singing the role of Zweite Dame in Die Zaüberflöte. She was seen recently in Babe! An Olympian Musical at the National Women’s Musical Festival and as Mary Todd Lincoln in American Spring with Opera on Tap- Milwaukee.
Kirstin also has significant choral experience; working as a section leader and chorister. She is currently the Alto section leader/ Scholarship Quartet member at Christ Presbyterian Church as well as a cantor/choral sub for Cathedral Parish and St. Albert the Great, all in the Madison area.
Kirstin has worked with students from ages five through adult. Her patient, enthusiastic manner resonates well with a wide variety of individuals. Her students sing in top choirs at their schools, perform lead roles and have won honors at the district and state WI Solo and Ensemble Competitions. Kirstin previously taught at Wauwatosa School of Music and Madison Music Foundry. Ms. Roble also taught beginning piano at both locations as well.
Kirstin is a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and AGMA (American Guild of Musical Artists.)
