Kristian Brusubardis received a Bachelors in Violin Performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of music, and a Graduate Certificate from the Leonard Sorkin International Institute of Chamber Music, UWM Peck School of the Arts.

He has worked as an instructor and orchestral coach for the Progressions Program / Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. Kristian has also performed as a soloist with The Wisconsin Philharmonic Orchestra, and has earned honors in many competitions with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Menomonee Falls Orchestra, Wisconsin Philharmonic, and Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. Kristian has served as the Sheboygan Symphony’s assistant concertmaster, and has performed with the Festival City Orchestra, Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Philharmonic, Kenosha Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Philharmonic, and the Kettle Moraine Orchestra. Additionally, Kristian is a regular member of Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and a substitute member of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

When teaching, Kristian’s primary goal for students is to develop strong technique, and a passion for playing. The development of technical skills is also supported by ear training exercises, and instruction in music theory.

Kristian teaches violin, viola, double bass, and piano in the Milwaukee area.
