Rodrigo Ramos – Milwaukee

Rodrigo Ramos Brazilian violinist and music instructor is currently a Graduate Student in Violin Performance and Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
After graduating in Music Education from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro – Brazil (2018) he taught in Rio de Janeiro. He attended Music Festivals in the interest of expanding his exposure and performing skills. Additionally he was in numerous orchestras across Brazil including Camerata Laranjeiras Cesgranrio Symphony Orchestra Mozarteum Brasileiro Academy Orchestra and others.
In addition to playing in touring with many Brazilian artists and music groups he was the Concertmaster of Camerata Laranjeiras. That opportunity allowed him the chance to go to Norway and perform with Oslo Strings featuring the singer Maria Mena.
Rodrigo moved to Milwaukee in 2022 in order to work on his Masters in Violin Performance with Dr. Bernard Zinck at UWM. He is currently Concertmaster at UWM Symphony Orchestra. In addition to other teaching he is excited to be a part of the Maestro Makers faculty.
Rodrigo is currently accepting new violin and viola students.
